Which airport is closer to Aldea Kaan Tulum?
Tulum airport (TQO) is 45 minutes by car from Aldea Kaan Tulum. Cancun airport (CUN) is 1 hour 35 minutes by car from Aldea Kaan Tulum. Both drives end at the same place: the security booth of La Privada in Aldea Zama, 5 minutes by car from downtown Tulum and 7 minutes from the beach.
How do we get from the airport to Aldea Kaan Tulum?
The Aldea Kaan Tulum concierge arranges airport pickups at the vendor's price. Ask for the pickup price when you request your quote, and give the concierge your flight number so the driver meets the flight. If you rent a car instead, every villa has free parking on the premises, and the beach and downtown are a short drive.
What happens at the La Privada gate before Aldea Kaan Tulum?
Every guest enters La Privada by showing a QR code and an ID at the security booth, which is staffed 24/7. We send the QR code before you arrive; keep it on your phone, because only registered guests are admitted to the enclave, and day visitors need to be registered too. Inside the gate the five villas stand side by side, so a group arriving in several cars ends up at the same address.
What if we land before check in or leave after checkout?
Every Aldea Kaan Tulum villa has self check in with a keypad after 4:00 PM and free parking on the premises. There is no front desk to reach before a set hour, and checkout is before 11:00 AM. Every Aldea Kaan Tulum villa allows luggage dropoff for early arrivals and late departures. Tell the concierge your flight times before you arrive.
